Martin has deep roots in Toronto’s legal and property development community. He was a partner in one of Canada’s largest law firms, co-managing its mortgage enforcement department comprising 7 lawyers and 25 clerks.
Before attending law school, Martin was a successful entrepreneur. He established a commercial/residential renovation business, a snow removal/landscaping business and had spent more than fifteen years working for a prominent Toronto residential/commercial/office property developer.
Martin continues to consider interesting entrepreneurial projects. Among other enterprises, he was one of the founders of a natural spring water bottler, supplying bottled water to some of England’s larger supermarkets.
