Daniel carries with him significant business law experience, as well as a strong understanding of corporate finance. Daniel has extensive experience in both law and finance, which makes him capable of providing companies with holistic and strategic guidance, as he can identify and advise on both legal and financial issues that businesses encounter. Daniel realizes that understanding a company’s financials is vital in order to provide his clients with the most comprehensive and practical legal advice for their business, as law and finance are invariably intertwined. Prior to founding Guardian, Daniel began his career working at a major Canadian corporate law firm. He then left law to pursue a career in finance for a major U.S. Bank. Daniel’s work experience has provided him with an appreciation for providing clients with effective service, by operating in an open, accessible, and efficient manner. Daniel knows rapidly changing world demands lawyers who will be innovative and adapt to today’s client needs, and he founded Guardian to do just that.
Daniel is a big proponent of spending time outdoors and travelling the world. His free time normally entails keeping busy at the gym or indulging in activities such as tennis, baseball, skiing or hiking. Daniel is an avid reader, and though he usually prefers non-fiction, you can sometimes find him secretly immersed in political and spy thrillers. Daniel is an adventurous eater, and loves trying new cuisines. His love for food extends to his own kitchen, where he enjoys cooking (but only for others) and isn’t half bad at it (though he hates cleaning up after). Though Daniel is used to working long hours, he will always try to find time to exercise, see his family, and play with his dog. He’s a fan of the Toronto Blue Jays, Toronto Raptors, and the New York Giants.

Jasdeep is able to assist entrepreneurs and businesses with all their corporate litigation and dispute resolution needs, including shareholder disputes, disputes with boards of directors, management and employee disputes, and disputes arising with third-party suppliers or customers. Jasdeep recognizes the stress and expense associated with litigation. He therefore endeavors to provide creative and efficient solutions to avoid litigation, if possible, but does not shy away from the courtroom. He is steadfast in ensuring that his clients’ interests are best protected and served, and will always strive to obtain the best results for his clients whenever a dispute arises.
Jasdeep spends much of his (very limited) spare time training in martial arts, exercising, and spending time with his wife, family and friends. He is also a dog lover and an avid reader, with a particular interest in non-fiction books about history and anthropology. Jasdeep grew up in Ottawa, and though he travels back to his hometown to see his family, he secretly prefers living in the big city (but always tells his family he’s an Ottawa boy at heart). Jasdeep is a fan of the Toronto Raptors, Toronto Blue Jays, and the Green Bay Packers. He loves to travel and tries to never visit the same city twice (unless he falls in love with the city, which he often does).
